Fill it Past the Line

Before Silver Monkeys, Aggro Crags, Brain Drains, Summer Sanders and even my most beloved Nitro, there was the Physical Challenge.

Since I was born in 1985, I quite literally grew up with Double Dare. I hadn't really given it much thought in years, but that changed a couple weeks ago after the hubby and I got into some kind of an argument over an episode of Unwrapped. To prove myself right I consulted the Internets (I was wrong, but that's not important.)

Anyway, one thing led to another, and I eventually found myself watching old Double Dare episodes on YouTube. This was good television, people. Without Double Dare, I would have never learned how to climb up pudding-covered slides backwards, and that is an essential life skill.

Anyone else remember this gem of '80s pop culture? I was so excited at rediscovering this show that I even bought a rad Double Dare t-shirt.
